The India Network Foundation, a non-profit community organization in the United States, has been sponsoring a health insurance program for visitors coming to the United States on a short term basis for the last two decades. India Network is also helping citizens of the Asian Indian community in answering questions on ObamaCare Plans, deductibles, limitations, and exclusions in an easy-to-understand language.
Today, India Network is launching a new portal web site -NRIAlliances.com to help second generation Asian Indian American young professionals find their soul mates locally in North America. The 2010 US Census showed that more than 11 percent of families have reported Asian in combination with some other race, and this percentage varies by region substantially throughout the country.
Many Indian American professionals who migrated on work visas (H1B Visas) during 1990s have settled in the United States. Children of this group, who are now in their twenties, have grown up with an American life style and need a place to meet like-minded young people. NRI (Non Resident Indian) Alliances is a project dedicated to help young professionals in the United States to find like-minded people who would meet their approval, as well as their parents.
